Connecticut Shoreline community set to see return of outdoor gear, apparel and service with new Mountain Expedition Supply, LLC store.

Branford, CT – May 10, 2024 – Mountain Expedition Supply, LLC (‘MES’), is a new outdoor equipment retailer opening at 847 W Main St Branford in May 2024. The business is taking a new approach to helping the local outdoor enthusiast community enjoy skiing, snowboarding, hiking, camping and more by offering meticulously curated outdoor apparel and gear for purchase or rent for the whole family. In addition to top-of-the-line outdoor products, MES will also offer services that include custom outfitting, equipment servicing and repair, concierge trip planning, and exclusive delivery services.

“I’ve grown up on the peaks of the New England mountains for work, as a former firefighter and high angle rescue tech in Hamden, and play - mostly skiing and camping. When having fun, it’s important to me that my recreational equipment offer the same reliability my rescue gear did,” says business owner and retired firefighter Matthew E. Sarracco. “I see an opportunity to bring the action back to the CT shoreline for outdoor enthusiasts like myself, and can’t wait to share my enjoyment for all things skiing, camping, and exploring with the local community!”
