The grand opening of Mountain Expedition Supply, LLC celebrates the return of outdoor gear, apparel and service to the Connecticut shoreline community.

Branford, CT – June 10, 2024 – Mountain Expedition Supply, LLC (‘MES’) is a new outdoor equipment retailer now open at 847 W Main St in Branford. Join them on June 22nd from 11am – 4pm to celebrate their grand opening. Trailblazers in attendance can enjoy exclusive raffles & giveaways, product demos, discounts & more! The first 50 people in the door will receive a FREE ‘MES’ hat (exclusions apply).

The business is helping people ‘get out and play’ by taking a personalized approach to providing products and services for the area’s most popular outdoor activities. Mountain Expedition Supply has meticulously curated gear and apparel for hiking, camping, climbing, and come winter skiing, and snowboarding. Gear will be available for purchase or rent for the whole family. Services, such as custom outfitting, equipment servicing and repair, concierge trip planning, and exclusive delivery services are also part of their offering.

“I’ve grown up on the peaks of the New England mountains for work, as a former firefighter and high angle rescue tech in Hamden, and play - mostly skiing and camping. When having fun, it’s important to me that my recreational equipment offers the same reliability my rescue gear did,” says business owner and retired firefighter Matthew E. Sarracco. “I’m thrilled to kick off our journey with the local community and celebrate all things skiing, camping, and exploring at our grand opening!”
