Description
The Salomon Stance 80 is designed to offer a responsive, confident ride across groomed runs and moderate off-piste terrain. Its blend of a poplar wood core, Titanal insert, and all-mountain rocker helps maintain both agility and stability, making it ideal for progressing skiers who want one ski for everyday use.
The added Titanal layer improves dampening and edge control without making the ski overly stiff. With sandwich sidewalls, it maintains clean transitions and good edge grip even on harder snow. The all-mountain rocker offers forgiveness and versatility in variable conditions.
Intermediate to early advanced skiers who want a dependable, playful, and precise all-mountain ski. It’s great for riders who spend most time on groomed trails but also dip into side hits or chop.

Because of its 80 mm waist, the Stance 80 is optimized for hardpack and groomed terrain. In deep powder or very soft snow, its flotation will be limited. Also, its design leans more toward responsive edge grip than freestyle play.
This ski generally rides true to size. For sharper turn response and easier handling in tight terrain, consider sizing down slightly. For more stability at speed, stick with your usual size or size up.
