The 2025 Salomon QST Lux 92 is engineered to deliver confident, playful performance across varied snow. It features a modern shape with lowered widest points and extended rocker for better turn initiation and float. The C/FX carbon backbone and dual sidewall construction work in concert to give strength and edge hold, while a poplar core maintains liveliness and responsiveness.

WHY WE LIKE IT

The QST Lux 92 stands out for its balance—stable yet nimble. The carbon backbone adds torsional support without deadening the flex, and the freeride shape helps it adapt from groomers to soft snow seamlessly.

WHO IT IS FOR

Women skiers who want one ski that can handle everything from carving groomers to venturing into softer terrain. Especially good for intermediates pushing into more varied lines without going overly wide.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

Because it’s tuned for versatility rather than extreme conditions, it won’t float like a powder-specific ski in deep, heavy snow. Also, its shape favors playful engagement over ultra-stable carving on icy, high-speed runs.

FIT & SIZING CONSIDERATIONS

This ski generally rides true to size. If you want sharper responsiveness or work in tighter terrain, a slightly shorter length may feel more agile. For more stability at high speed or in rough snow, lean toward your regular or longer size.
