Description

DESCRIPTION

The 2025 Line Optic 88 is the narrowest ski in the Optic family, optimized for fast, precise performance on firm snow while retaining the ability to venture into varied terrain. With a Gas Pedal Metal Overdriveā„¢ layup, it offers enhanced edge hold, damping, and control without over-stiffening the tips and tails.

WHY WE LIKE IT

It provides crisp edge transitions and responsiveness on groomers, yet remains stable in chop. Even with its narrower waist, the ski exhibits serious snap and control thanks to its metal reinforcement and tuned flex profile.

WHO IT IS FOR

Advanced to expert skiers who prioritize carving precision on hard snow, but still want a ski that can flex into crud, variable terrain, and occasional off-piste slashes.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Dimensions: 121 / 88 / 111 mm
  • Turning radius: ~16.3 m
  • Weight per ski: ~1720 g
  • Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile
  • Construction: Full sidewall with Gas Pedal Metal Overdriveā„¢ reinforcement
  • Stance: ~ –57 mm back from center
  • Available lengths: 149, 156, 163, 170, 177, 184 cm
THINGS TO CONSIDER

Its narrow waist makes it extremely precise on groomers, but in deep, soft snow it won’t float like a broader freeride ski. In tight terrain at slow speeds, the tuned flex may feel slightly reactive.

FIT & SIZING CONSIDERATIONS

This ski generally rides true to size. For more agility and playful movement, a slight size down may help. For added stability and control at high speeds, maintain your usual length or size up.
